Podcast 63: Permission to Be You: Navigating Motherhood and Purpose through Human Design with Alexandra Cole
The Blueprint of You: Why Human Design is the Ultimate Parenting & Health Tool
We spend most of our lives trying to fit into molds. We’re told to be logical when we feel emotional, or to "stick with one thing" when our souls crave variety.
In my recent conversation with Alexandra Cole, we explored why Human Design is the antidote to this external pressure.
1. The Power of "Deconditioning"
Around age six or seven, we start becoming aware of cultural expectations. We start compromising our innate nature to earn love and "fit in." Human Design provides a tangible roadmap back to that authentic self we had as toddlers.
2. Parenting the Individual
One of the most profound takeaways from this episode is the impact of Human Design on parenting. Alexandra explains that when we understand our child’s "Authority" (how they make decisions) and "Digestion" (how they process the world), we can stop parenting through our own biases and start supporting their unique journey.
3. It’s Not Just Spiritual—It’s Biological
Did you know Human Design has a system for digestion? Some people need high-stimulation environments to eat, while others need total calm. Aligning your environment with your design can be the missing piece in your healing journey.
